I am proud to be invited to participate in this boutique show of St. Louis area artists at Shaw Nature Reserve. Featured artwork includes glass, ceramic, wood and metal sculpture, painting, folk art, paper, photography, jewelry, basketry, fibers, and more on display and available for purchase throughout the rustic cabins at the Dana Brown Overnight Center.

Check-in at the Visitor Center, pay admission fee ($10 per car for members and $20 per car for nonmembers, FREE for Festival level members and above), and receive a token for the lift arm gate. From here you will drive 15 minutes through Shaw Nature Reserve to our Dana Brown Overnight. There will be signs to help direct you and you'll enjoy gorgeous views of the fall landscape.

Fee upon entry. No pre-registration.

The premier fine art fair in St. Louis city features 130 artists and includes food, music, and schools art gallery, and most importantly – great art! Highly rated by participating artists and visitors. On the beautiful tree-lined parkway of Flora Place at Tower Grove Avenue across from the Missouri Botanical Garden.

Artwork includes: Ceramics, Digital Art, Drawing / Pastels, Fiber Art, Glass, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Wood / Metal work.

UPDATE: Received a 2023 Award of Recognition from the Mosaics Fine Art Festival for outstanding representation of his overall artwork displayed during the 2023 festival weekend.

Steve Springmeyer, SpringArt Photo, is proud to be invited to participate in the 28th Annual Mosaics Fine Art Festival. 100 of the finest local, regional and national artists will be featured along Old Main Street of downtown St. Charles, Missouri. Historic Main Street is Missouri’s first and largest nationally registered historic district. Running parallel to the Missouri River, the brick-paved streets are home to one-of-a-kind shops, restaurants, and B&B’s in buildings that date to the 1800s. The Festival transforms North Main Street into an outdoor art gallery featuring fine art for sale by local and national artists. 

This free outdoor festival is held rain or shine and is within easy walking distance from free parking.

I am proud to have my photograph lifeguard stand selected to be included in The St. Louis Artists’ Guild annual members exhibition, an all media and theme exhibit.

Juror: Yingxue Zuo - Professor Emeritus at St. Louis Community College - Forest Park 
Yingxue Zuo combines ancient techniques from his birthplace in China with those of contemporary Western practice. He is inspired by the natural world, finding inspiration to create works of art ranging from sketches, oil paintings, woodblock prints, and Chinese ink paintings. Yingxue Zuo has lived in St. Louis since 1990, and travels regularly to China, where he conducts tours and workshops. Zuo holds a Master of fine arts degree in painting and printmaking from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Northeast Normal University, Changchun, Jilin Province, China. His works have been exhibited throughout the United States and China, and are in a number of university collections, including Southern Illinois University, Carbondale; Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville and Webster University, among others.

5-Mile Radius, a solo exhibition, will be presented at the Schlafly Branch of the St. Louis Public Library during the month of September. The exhibit will feature works focused on the urban landscape.

The Schlafly Library is located in the Central West End, just blocks from my home. The St. Louis Public Library has 17 locations across the city and sees more than 2.3 million visitors each year. The Library has more than four million books and items in its collection and 114,330 active cardholders.

SLPL’s mission is to provide learning resources and information services that support and improve individual, family and community life through a variety of services, programs and initiatives. The services include tools and collections for business, individual or organizational research and informational needs.

Programs exist to bring in popular and timely speakers, authors and artists to our Branches throughout the city. Numerous discussion groups encourage reading for entertainment or learning and reach children and adults at every age and walk of life.offering the best n a quiet corner of a busy urban world.

With artwork by 13 resident artists, we offer a diverse collection of works, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and jewelry. We also host a local artists group exhibition in our main gallery every month for artists to submit their work for display.

UPDATE: I’m excited to announce that my image hall monitor was awarded first place in the Tales by Light exhibition.

Two of my works have been selected to be included in the St. Louis Artists’ Guild’s Tales by Light, a national juried photography exhibit featuring photographers using various photographic techniques to showcase how light can impact your work.

Juror: Shreepad Joglekar - Associate Professor of Photography at Kansas State University

Shreepad Joglekar is an immigrant worker from Mumbai, India. He has been awarded residencies at the National Center for Contemporary Art, Kronstadt, St. Petersburg, Russia; Weir Farm National Historic Site in Branchville, CT; the Millay Colony for the Arts in Austerlitz, NY; and A.I.R. Studio in Paducah, KY. His recent exhibitions include Non-Places of Intelligence at Portico Library Gallery, Manchester, UK, and Rural America, at Piramal Gallery, National Center for the Performing Art, Mumbai, India. His work is held in the permanent collections of Center for Photography as an Art Form (NCPA), Mumbai, India; The Center for Fine Art Photography, Fort Collins, CO; Harper College Educational Foundation Art Collection, Palatine, IL; and Chashama Nonprofit Group, NY, NY. His work has also been shown in several galleries in the US, Canada, China, Cuba, Egypt, Germany, India, Poland, and the United Kingdom. He has presented at interdisciplinary conferences in the US, France, and the United Kingdom. Intersections of Marxist thought with architecture and landscape theories stimulate his research. Exploring natural, constructed, and intellectual spaces have been a dominant theme in his work.

Wonders of Nature, a solo exhibit, will be presented at the Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center during the month of July. The exhibit will feature more than 40 of my works focused on the natural world, many of which are being shown for the first time.

Powder Valley is an educational nature oasis in the middle of Kirkwood. It is nestled within 112 acres of oak hickory forest in a quiet corner of a busy urban world. The area has three trails, all of them paved, and one that offers interpretive signage and is disabled accessible. Powder Valley has something for nature lovers both indoors and out, and for all seasons. The nature center, gift shop, and innovative educational exhibits, including an aquarium and bee hive, offer something year round. MDC naturalists conduct regular programs to help those of every age discover the wonders of nature.

We are a coop art gallery located in historic Soulard. With artwork from 14 resident artists, we offer a diverse collection of works, including painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, photography, and jewelry. We also host a group exhibition in our main gallery every month for artists to submit their work for display.

We pleased to present Anything Goes, the first group exhibition of 2022 featuring all media, all styles, all subjects, all themes, all techniques exhibition.

For this exhibit, artwork in all media were submitted by 90 St. Louis regional artists for consideration from which 60 artists were chosen, presenting 75 artworks for exhibition.

Anything Goes
 is presented January 14-February 11, 2022. Due to the ongoing global pandemic, our opening reception has been delayed to JANUARY 28.

Now in its 21st year, Unique Boutique is a popular community event and school fundraiser sponsored by the John Burroughs School Parents Council – featuring original artwork, jewelry and gifts from over 50 local and national artisans. Proceeds go to further enrich the JBS educational experience.

PAST EVENT: Art St. Louis XXXVII, The Exhibition

We are pleased to present Art St. Louis XXXVII, The Exhibition, our 37th annual all media, all styles, all subjects, all themes, all techniques exhibition.

For this year's exhibit, 446 artworks in all media were submitted by 117 St. Louis regional artists for consideration by Juror Dana Turkovic from which she selected artworks by 56 artists from Missouri and Illinois for exhibition. This multi-media exhibit includes 56 works in ceramics, collage, digital media, drawing, handmade paper, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, textiles, wood, and more.

Art St. Louis XXXVII, The Exhibition
 is presented November 6-December 16, 2021. Due to the ongoing global pandemic, we are not hosting a reception for this exhibit. 

Gallery hours* are Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Closed Sundays & holidays. Closed Thanksgiving holiday & weekend. Gallery closed between exhibits. Dates and hours subject to change.

PAST EVENT: Humanity: Art Saint Louis virtual gallery exhibit

For this virtual show, 77 artworks were submitted for jurying and 46 works by 31 STL regional artists from Missouri & Illinois were selected for exhibit.

In addition to the virtual gallery exhibit, all featured artworks in the show will be included in a Facebook album and many works will also be highlighted on Instagram @art_st_louis throughout the show.

The exhibition will be available online at www.artstlouis.org October 1 through December 1, 2021

PAST EVENT: Webster Arts & Webster University Collaborative Community Photography Exhibition

The exhibition is a collaboration between the May Gallery at Webster University and Webster Arts. Of the 100 entries received, 29 photographs were selected.

The exhibition will be on display through April 9 in the May Gallery, located in the Sverdrup building at 8300 Big Bend Blvd. on the campus of Webster University.

Art St. Louis XXXVI, The Exhibition, presents our annual all media, all styles, all subjects/themes, all techniques exhibition.

For this year's 36th annual exhibit, 509 artworks in all media were submitted by 123 St. Louis regional artists for consideration by Juror Meredith Malone from which she selected 55 artworks by 52 from Missouri and Illinois for our exhibition. This multi-media exhibit includes ceramics, collage, digital media, drawing, handmade paper, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, textiles, and wood.
